Aquana Sirena

A five foot 1 (and a smidgeon) tall female elf. She doesn't look like the usual elf as her waist long blonde hair has a greenish tinge in the right light and also her skin has a bluish tinge. The other clue to her parentage is her eyes. She needs eyeglasses usually to be able to see properly on land, but, underwater, she can see perfectly clearly.

She (unbeknown to her) is the result of a tryst between an aquatic elf and a land elf maybe one or two generations ago. Only a few of the aquatic elf genes have expressed themselves so she can't breathe water, or anything like that, but does has a desire to be in it whenever possible. Her favourite thing to do, besides studying the mysteries of the cosmos - and the arcane arts, is to explore the underwater parts of the Puddles. She has actually made a home for herself, which is only accessable through an underwater passage, somewhere in the labyrinth of semi submerged buildings.

She is also an orphan. No one knows what happened to her true parents, but she was brought up by a group of river elves. She's rather shy and withdrawn, which wasn't helped by some of the teasing and bad jokes she had to endure, just because she looked 'different'.

Her main escape were books, although many aspects of Nature fascinated her .. especially the night sky. That .. and her tendency to be always wondering what was over the next hill led her to becoming a follower of Desna. She also had an aptitude for learning and was always wanting to know things so that naturally led to the Arcane Arts and alchemy. She even studied fireworks as she loved the bright colours and the explosions. Maybe such power could be harnessed to go faster and further.

Anyway, as soon as she able, she started wandering, picking up more knowledge from each place she visited. Eventually she arrived at Absolom

5'5ish shoulder length dark hair, tanned skin, green eyes.

The only daughter and only child of a paladin of Iomedae, so she began apprenticeship as his squire. His plan was for her to become a paladin as well but the young Tulip rebelled against the rules and struck out on her own path, vowing to protect those who can't protect themselves, even if it did mean breaking the law.
